One of the biggest music events returns after two years away

Music-lovers, rejoice, as you don’t have to wait much longer until Glastonbury 2022’s main players take to the stage. The festival, which returns following a two-year break because of the the pandemic, will once again be held at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.
There will, no doubt, be people reading this who will be attending. If you are, we wish you the best of times and make sure to bring a brolly. However, not everyone was lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket. The popular event was sold out within 30 minutes. Luckily, fans will be able to watch the event live on TV and listen in on the radio.
Glastonbury 2022 looks set to be big. The event is celebrating its belated 50th anniversary (even though it’s technically the 52nd year) and some of the world’s most beloved music stars will be performing. But who? And how can you tune in? Read on to find out.
Who is performing at Glastonbury 2022?
The line-up for Glastonbury 2022 is, naturally, huge. The headliners for the event include Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross.
Joining them are a whole host of other artists including the likes of Noel Gallagher, Sam Fender, Jessie Ware and many more. You can see all the artists performing in the poster below.
BBC iPlayer’s dedicated Glastonbury channel will broadcast more than 90 sets and key tracks from the five filmed staged throughout the weekend and for 30 days after broadcast. There will also be feature-interviews and backstage bits with the presenting team.
