Voters in North Shropshire gave a warm welcome on Saturday to Rejoin EU Party candidate Boris Been-Bunged, aka Drew Galdron, as he toured the constituency ahead of next Thursday’s by-election.
Mr Been-Bunged told shoppers on the streets of Market Drayton and Oswestry that the only way to end government sleaze and the disaster caused by Brexit is to vote for him and the Rejoin EU Party on December 16.
They agreed, happily taking the party’s street flyers and signing its ‘Brexitometer’ straw poll.
It showed people are clearly feeling the effect of shortages, petrol queues and soaring costs sparked by Brexit.
A clear majority said Brexit wasn’t working and the UK needs to re-join the EU.
Green Party candidate Duncan Kerr also chipped in, smiling as he signed up to the Brexitometer in Oswestry.
Boris Been-Bunged said, “We had a real party with voters in North Shropshire today – and at least this is one we can tell people about!”
