What’s the early team news?
For England, one thing is for certain, Dean Henderson will not be playing. The Manchester United goalkeeper is out of the tournament with a hip problem, so Aaron Ramsdale will fill that third goalkeeper position.
Fellow United star Harry Maguire has insisted he is fit enough to start, after missing the opening game against Croatia, however Gareth Southgate might opt for Tyrone Mings once again given there is still a long way to go in the tournament.
Jack Grealish will be the other big talking point. He missed out on a spot in the starting lineup in the opening game and will be champing at the bit for a go from the off against the Scots. The Aston Villa midfielder did miss training on Tuesday, though, with the explanation having not been disclosed just yet.
For Scotland, the big one is whether Arsenal star Kieran Tierney is available.
The left-back missed the opening game against the Czech Republic owing to a calf injury, but is a crucial player for the Scots and Steve Clarke will be hoping to call upon him for the Wembley showdown.
Elsewhere, Southampton forward Che Adams could be in line for a recall to the starting side after impressing against the Czechs in the first match.
What have the managers said?
England manager Gareth Southgate : “We’ll look at every opponent, we’ll look at our team for every game, I think we have to have flexibility.
“We’ve got players who came into the game and did a great job and we’ve got other players in the squad who are going to have a really important part to play.
“That will work its way around. There’s going to be opportunities for a lot more players in the next couple of weeks.”
Scotland manager Steve Clarke : “I can’t tell if he (Tierney) is going to be okay.
“He is back light training that is a big difference to normal training. That is the honest answer.
“We have waited a long time for the tournament to come and to miss out is a bit of a blow. We’ll now just need to see how it develops and see how he does. And then decide from there.”

Owen predicts 2-0 win for Three Lions at Wembley
Michael Owen has had his say on the big England v Scotland game at Wembley tomorrow. It’s a must win game for the Scots, but despite Steve Clarke’s men being positive, Owen predicts a comfortable victory for the Three Lions.
